Two new designs from Glitchaus:
8bit Edition Notendo glitch blanket and HexEdit Edition Houndstooth glitch scarf by Jeff Donaldson.
I designed the 8bit glitch blanket with my prepared Nintendo Entertainment System. The pattern is a composite video capture which was dithered in order to be rendered as a 50/50 merino wool, soft acrylic blanket at a 1:1 pixel to knot ratio. The result is a 6x5’ glitchy, noisy blanket.
To design the houndstooth glitch scarf, I used classic hexedit or, databending techniques to manipulate a houndstooth .jpg after Jeremy Bailey mentioned that the Read Error glitch scarf reminded him of houndstooth.
These are previews photographed by Becky Stern over at Adafruit Industries. Thanks, Becky!

Last month at Adafruit, Becky Stern and I rendered one of my Atari ST emulator glitch designs as a warm, soft scarf. Becky’s expertise with the Electroknit knitting machine, a custom interface cable and, custom software developed by Limor Fried to allow the Electroknit to communicate with a modern computer over USB, enabled me to render this unique glitch textile by hand.
There is much more Electroknitting planned so stay tuned!
